Hello, Will an Induction Cooktop Work with a Different Outlet From Another Country?

Hello, I'm moving to another country soon and I'm planning to buy a portable induction cooktop. I'll have to quarantine in a hotel for two weeks. Apparently, the food isn't great, and since I can cook, I plan on cooking some food. My parents say that if I do buy an induction cooktop, it won't work since the outlets aren't the same. Is that true? I have a few ideas for which type of induction cooktop to buy. But I'm just wondering if it'll work with different outlets. Maybe I have to buy some sort of converter?

Thanks for the help :)
