I've been making 2-3 batches of ice cream a week for at least five years and finally worked up the level of annoyance to put out a request for a very specific tool recommendation. Does anyone have a favorite tool to transfer ice cream from a home machine (e.g. no gravity drop mechanism) into a static freezing bowl?
I've been using a small, flexible silicone turner which works pretty well, but speed is the most important thing post-churn and it's taking too long to transfer the churned ice cream from the machine to a freezing bowl.
