Is there a way to “prep” a bunch of bacon to use as needed, to avoid the smell permeating my apartment each time I cook a strip?

Basically, I live in a small and poorly ventilated apartment, and cooking bacon makes the entire place smell for hours. I want a way to cook a bunch of bacon at once, then use that cooked bacon without re-releasing the same amount of smells into the apartment. I assume this will require cooling and reheating. I’m also ok with the fact the reheating might make it smell a bit, but hopefully not a lot.

Can I bake it, drain and cool, and keep in a ziplock bag and microwave when needed? Hoping it can keep its texture.

Is this possible? Or should I suck it up? CAN’T give up bacon, but open to suggestions for alternatives that don’t have as permeating a smell. Thanks y’all.
