This recipe (linked in text) says to use chuck roast. Can I use any type of roast or does it have to be beef chuck?

I live in Canada so we don’t have chuck roasts - well we do I guess but they’re called blade roasts. The thing is, they are usually $90. I just wanted to follow this simple recipe I found on Pinterest for dinner one night this week but I don’t know if I could just use a regular roast beef? Or another cut? Sorry I am not well versed in beef cuts? Lol!

Here is the recipe: https://100krecipes.com/crockpot-beef-and-broccoli/?pp=1

Thank you to anyone that answers :)
