I just got a new mortar and pestle and I was reading up on how to cure it, however, I didn't look up to crush up the rice correctly... I was a little rough and like a rock to another tried to crush the rice and it was messy... I felt like I was doing it wrong and AFTER I had already finished I looked it up and saw I was indeed doing it wrong... now I'm concerned about the dust which I didn't really see any up in the air aside from rice grains flying around ( it did feel dusty taking it out of the box but didnt seem to see any in the air) lol but my sinuses say otherwise or maybe its rice dust or maybe it's just me causing myself symptoms because I'm freaking out.... (again I saw no dust flying around at )... my concern is how dangerous is it to breath in I am assuming granite mortar and pestle dust? I did rinse and let it dry, did the rice method wrong like 5 times, and then rinsed again.
