Does anyone know what the “fluffy” brownish-grayish ingredient (for lack of a better description) might be in this Chinese chicken salad dressing?
I’m trying to recreate a local restaurant’s dressing mostly so I can calculate the rough calories in it.
I made a very similar dressing with a neutral oil, rice vinegar, salt, & pepper but I’m definitely missing something because it’s not as bright (maybe tangy?) tasting and there’s visibly another ingredient in the dressing shown here: https://i.imgur.com/g7u8I6L.jpg
