Is changing heavy cream to heavy coconut milk will have same result to the dish?

I want to try cook recipe that adding heavy cream to finish the recipe but unfortunately heavy cream price is 2-3 times more expensive that coconut milk in my country. will be huge differences if I substitute heavy cream with coconut milk?
