Should I add butter under the skin of a turkey before or after I dry brine?

I'm about to cook a turkey and I'm wondering if the butter is going to affect the amount of salt the turkey has? (I'm going to use a compound butter and a salt baking powder dry brine) I would butter it after the dry brine but I know the skin would be tougher and I might tear it.
