Should I use only baking powder and no salt on a pre-brined turkey?

I have a supermarket turkey that is pre-brined. I want use Serious Eats' dry brine method that consists of kosher salt and baking soda. The baking soda is supposed to promote a nice browning on the skin. Since my turkey is already brined should I put only the baking powder on it and no salt?
