baked raspberry brie

I don't know if this is the correct place to post, please forgive me. I had the most delicious baked raspberry brie over Thanksgiving and I would love to replicate it. The original maker of said brie gave me instructions, but only basic cut off the white, raspberry preserves and walnuts, wrap in phyllo dough and butter every three layers. No measurements or temperatures or times. Also, can I use puff pastry in place of phyllo? Having a hard time finding it.
