Using Frozen Zucchini Slices

I froze pounds of zucchini in the summer. I was hoping to make zucchini parmigiana. Is it possible to do without the slices becoming a soggy mess? If not, can you suggest any dishes that keep the slice intact (e.g. not breads or pasta sauces- I have grated and chunked frozen zucchini for those!)
