Cooling and heating food repeatedly: is this dangerous?

If I pack some natures valley granola bars in my lunchbox as a “side snack” with my packed lunch and an ice pack, don’t eat it, and it goes through multiple freeze-thaw cycles throughout the week, is it not good to eat at a certain point?

I have the same question for prepared meals, things like chicken and veggies, stir fry, etc. If they go through several freeze thaw cycles, are they bad to eat even if they haven’t hit their expiration dates?
