i recently bought an induction hob, love it.
An AEG with a feature called senseboil, you can look that up yourself, but, short version is it heats full power then auto reduces power once it detects water in pan is boiling.
sadly, i only found out after it was installed that it's quite fussy...
from the manual:
senseboil does not work with nonstick cookware, e.g. with a ceramic coating.
It might not work with cast iron cookware.
Enamelled steel pots are recommended for achieving the best results while boiling potatoes...
so, to my question: can someone (UK) recommend an enamelled steel pan?
Or, any other advice to what might be going on??
happy to answer anyone seeking clarification of my situation :D

I've had trouble with the pans I bought before it arrived:

and then another pan I bought quickly just to test

but it's fine with the new pressure cooker i got

my main query is about "enamelled steel", since that's what the manual suggests, but I'm finding very little when i search for that term...
is it sufficiently different from stainless steel?
