Can I Reuse My Kimchi Sauce

I made kimchi a few weeks ago. It’s the first time I’ve made it. It seems to be going well so far.

My problem is that I made way too much sauce than was necessary for the amount of cabbage. If I was to remove some of it, could I use the stuff I removed to make a new batch of kimchi?
