Can you help me humble my family / friends

Everyone that’s knows me tell me I should be a chef and I am the best cook that they know.

I have never held a job as a cook in my life just to be clear.

I’ve worked with a lot of amazing chefs as a server

And I try to tell them I am not even close to a fucking chef lol

I am definitely the best at cooking I know but I’m definitely not a chef.

I cannot bake (like at high levels) , I am not well versed in desserts, sauces, or anything really.

But I tell them this and they don’t get it.

How can I explain it better?
