Hey all. Sugar cookie decorator by trade, but I can make a nice cake when friends ask. Friend ordered for a birthday where blueberries are the theme. She mentioned they love pastry cream and I wondered if I could add blueberries/blueberry reduction directly to the pastry cream once it’s prepared, and if I should be aware of any tweaks first?
Usually I pipe my well with Swiss meringue and then add whatever filling I/friends want, but I’ve not done fruit creme before.
Any tips/direction? Thanks!
