Best, simple recipes for a student in a basic apartment kitchen?

I love to cook for hours and have a fully stocked kitchen. My 20 year old son is moving from a dorm into his first apartment and asked me for simple recipes (ground beef/lamb/pork or chicken breast, pasta) that he can cook in 30-45 minutes with VERY limited equipment. The problem is- all my recipes have lots of ingredients and require more than just a chef's knife, baking sheet and a skillet. What are your best, simple recipes? Again- ground beef/lamb/pork or chicken breast or pasta. We are talking about a student on a time & money budget here. Luckily, no dietary restrictions. Thanks!
