I’ve tried to make funeral sandwiches several times and the bottoms are always soggy. Any tips?

I use a stick of butter, Dijon, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Put a very little amount on the bottom. When I made them this time I used less than 2tablespoons. I’ve soaked overnight, in an hour, in a few hours and none of it come out. I bake at 350° uncovered for about ~20-30 mins.
