What's the purpose of garlic powders existence to the food universe when we could have actual garlic to cook our food? 🧄 🧄 🧄

I personally like to use real garlic as opposed to garlic powder, but I would like to know why garlic powder exists when people can use regular garlic to cook their food.

If I could put up a flare for garlic I definitely would for this question LOL
