Is my oil bad?

Hey guys. Just fried up a bunch of fried chicken. My oil got pretty dirty on the process and I strained it through a paper towel into its original container. Now it looks a little darker than it was before and it has an off smell. Has it gone bad or is this just the smell of once used fryer oil? I'd like to get a couple more uses out of it at least.
