What is this slimy, jelly flappy stuff in my chicken mushroom soup?

I made chicken mushroom soup using recipe/ingredients from the green chef delivery service (the recipe card is here: https://cdn2.greenchef.com/uploaded/61fd6c2dd90f3800143c6581.pdf)

It tastes good, but there is some weird goo/jelly in the soup, I've attached a picture here: https://imgur.com/a/tbxqVzt. Does anyone know what it is? The taste is very neutral and it's like a very slimy jelly.

My main worry is that it's plastic from the meal kit packaging, but it doesn't seem like plastic to me? Is it collagen or something from the chicken? I find that weird though, because I used chicken breast, and I thought it should dissolve in the hot soup but it didn't.
