What kind of a food is ceviche, and more importantly for me similar dishes made like ceviche (raw or partially cooked animal protein marinated in some acid)? "Appetizer" or "side dish" seem too general. Can ceviche be considered a salad? How would we conclude the sentence, "Ceviche is a kind of........?"
