Help with formulating a taste-masking drink

I am currently allergic to ... everything? All plant food, basically. (Yes, it's a problem. Yes, I'm working with an allergist. No, this isn't fun.)

I get about half of my calories from a hypoallergenic formula (Tolerex) which is beyond disgusting. It's seriously bad. I've been able to get through it by using a particular Ensure drink to first coat my mouth, then as a chaser to help drive away the grossness. Thing is, that drink hasn't been available for a few months now and there's no sign it's coming back. Nothing else is available that has no plant protein and that has the viscosity I need.

I figure since I'm not allergic to cow's milk, honey, and (I think) canola oil, I should be able to blend the three together and come up with something sufficiently viscous and clingy.

  • "Delicious" is not a requirement. "Better tasting than the Tolerex compost smoothie" is all that's needed.

  • If I shake or blend the milk/cream, honey, and oil together, they don't stay mixed. It's kind of a disaster, actually.

Is there a way to get these things to mix and stay that way? The result likely won't last long in the fridge but if it holds up for a couple of days that's a win. Thanks for any advice you can give.
