Not really sure what I'm doing wrong. Round 1, I used flour and not cornstarch. Round 2, I reasoned that this was the problem, even though years ago I know I made it with flour. But I used corn starch and made it into a slurry before adding slowly. More lemon peel? Half-and-half instead of milk? Why isn't the blanc mange setting? I usually have no struggle with custards but here I'm ready to gove up and serve a blanc smoothie.
