Can you use a sous vide machine to pasteurize Ice Cream

My least favorite part of making ice cream is pasteurizing it. Could I take my sous vide, put it in the ice cream mixture, turn it to 165, or even lower to not cook the egg and then pasteurize it? I realize the sous vide machine would be horribly hard to clean, but what if I put the mixture in another bag and put that in water?
