Might have screwed up my hot sauce... help?

Hey all,

So I'm making homemade hot sauce, using this recipe https://www.thecuriouschickpea.com/easy-homemade-hot-sauce/

I did a batch before using Serranos and it came out pretty good.

This time around though, I wasn't paying attention, and added the vinegar on the first step instead of letting the peppers ferment for 2 days first. Is my hot sauce going to fail this time? Should I let it ferment longer to compensate? Any advice is appreciated.
