Nitride-treated (Nitrided, Nitriding-processed) carbon steel - Any fans?

Apparently on some woks now, they sell them in carbon steel but treated chemically to form a nitride oxide layer on top which is supposed to be super hardened and super smooth/nonstick if built with a seasoning layer.

Any one try this kind of pan/wok/pot?
