The elusive bbq sauce that keeps me up at night! Trying to figure out what “type/style” it could be. Help me out?

It’s seems specific to BBQ bacon burgers with onion rings. Typically from brewery’s or New American restaurants. It’s dark, thin and vinegary. It’s my favorite and I would love to know if this is a considered a certain type, as in from a state. So random, I know haha. Thank you!
