Okay so this happened to me a long time ago and remained a mystery to me for nearly a decade now. I went to a Chili's and ordered the hamburger sliders. I always tear off food into bits before eating and saw in the middle of my slider a very very bright blue dot. Like the most royal blue 🔵 I've ever seen
I know I've seen posts about beef being marked with blue ink for inspection but would that even have a chance to survive in ground beef and then cooked??
I've never went back to a Chili's since (no real loss) but every once in a while the thought comes back to me and I'm still very confused on what it could have been.
I also don't believe it was mold, the rest of the patty looked perfectly normal. It was just a very blue in the dead center of the patty. Both sides were thoroughly cooked. Any thoughts on what it could have been?
