Butane burner warnings: how serious are they?

I picked up a 8,500 butane burner to use to make hot pot at home. (Made by Thunder Group) I’ve seen comparable burners used by people I know for their home hot pot setups, so I figure it should work fine. The store owner also advises it would be suitable for hot pot.

I noticed after purchase that it has some warning signs on it. One of them warns against indoor use, the another sets a cap on the pan diameter to use due to the risk of overheating. (8.5 inches)

How seriously would you take these warnings? Is it fine to use a butane burner indoors, and could I stretch the warning for pot diameter? Does it matter if the pot I’m using is less wide at the bottom than at the top? ( it has a tapered/curved edge.)

If more info is needed, I’m happy to provide it. Thank you!
