Ruined cake pan?

I had a buttered and floured Fat Daddio cake pan sitting on my stove top, just waiting to have batter poured into it. I attempted to turn on a back burner to heat my kettle, but accidentally turned on the burner the cake pan was resting on. I sadly didn't realize this until the smoke alarm went off. There is a dark circle burned onto the inside surface of the pan now. Is it still usable, or have I completely ruined the finish/even heat distribution properties? Is there any way to remove the burn mark if the pan IS still usable?
