How to store vacuum packed meat after use?

I've been considering purchasing some Angus/Wagyu beef. It's comes in 1 kg portions that are vacuum packed. I don't have a vacuum sealer available with me. What is the best way to store the remainder of the meat so it doesn't get spoilt in the freezer? I.e. per standard freezer storage or re-vacuum pack or utilise another storage procedure.
