Need Help with Peking Duck/Brine

So, I’m in the process of making a Peking duck. I had planned to leave it salted and drying out in my fridge for 3 days. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I’ll have wait long to cook it. Probably a total of 4.5 days or so in the fridge.

Is this safe? Do you any recommendations to make sure the duck is of good quality?
