Bought flash frozen ground beef in vacuum sealed package. Was a deep ruby red when frozen.
Defrosted in a bowl of cold water in the fridge. Meat turned super pale and was surrounded by a bunch of bloody liquid.
Water in bowl was clear, so no leak.
What caused this?
