Unsure what sauce was on ravioli?

Hi r/AskCulinary! I recently had a phenomenal ravioli dish at a restaurant, I have no idea what the sauce on it was. The dish was had homemade sausage ravioli topped with the aforementioned sauce and cubed turnips. When I asked about the sauce, they said it was made of orange and Parmesan. It was like a brownish orange in color and tasted tangy and a little savory. I don’t think it tasted overtly citrusy. The sauce was probably more like a glaze and was thin, but still had some viscosity to it. Does anyone know what this might have been? Thanks!
