Joe Manchin avoided a question on whether he wants the Democratic Party to win the House and Senate.
Manchin said he thought people were sick of politicians fighting and holding legislation "hostage."
He said he'd be OK with whoever the voters choose and would "work with whatever I have."
Sen. Joe Manchin on Sunday dodged a direct question about whether he wanted the Democratic Party to win the November midterms and keep control of the House and Senate.
"I think they're sick and tired of Democrats and Republicans fighting and feuding and holding pieces of legislation hostage because they didn't get what they wanted, or something or someone might get credit for something," Manchin added.
Todd then pressed Manchin, asking him directly if he wanted the Democrats to win.
"I think the Democrats have great candidates that are running. They're good people I've worked with," the senator responded. "And I have a tremendous amount of respect and friendship with my Republican colleagues. So I can work on either side very easily."
"You don't care about the outcome this year of the election?" Todd asked Manchin.
"Well, whatever — whatever the voters choose. I can't decide what's going to happen in Kansas or California or Texas. I really can't," Manchin said.
He added that he has always respected the representatives elected by the states and does his best to work with them.
"I don't play the politics that way. I don't like it that way," Manchin added. "That's not who I am."
Manchin has been one of the biggest obstacles to the Democrats passing major legislation in the Senate, despite the party having control of the chamber. For one, the senator killed President Joe Biden's landmark Build Back Better legislation.

Robert Gentel flew from Costa Rica to Miami just to retrieve his stranded luggage.
The bag got stuck in Miami after his flight was canceled in June.
The aviation industry is dealing with a messy summer travel season with flight delays and chaos.
An American man flew from Costa Rica to Miami just to retrieve his luggage after his bags were incorrectly tracked.
Robert Gentel, a drone-racing enthusiast who lives in Costa Rica, told Insider the trouble started on June 15. He was due to fly from his parents' house in San Antonio, Texas, back to his home in Santa Ana, Costa Rica, to celebrate his birthday. He booked a first-class seat on American Airlines with a layover in Miami.
He checked two bags for the flight. Gentel told Insider the bags had thousands of dollars of drone gear in them, as he had taken part in the 2022 MultiGP International Open drone race in Indiana from June 8 to June 12.
However, after he checked his bags, his flight to Miami was canceled due to a maintenance issue, he said. The airline rebooked him on United Airlines flights to Houston and then on to Costa Rica on June 16.
"I came back to the airport the next day and checked with the American desk about my bags, and was told all was fine and that the bags were already on their way," he told Insider over Twitter.
But Gentel found out later they were not. He had placed Apple AirTags in the checked bags and saw them making their way to Miami.
Gentel made it to Costa Rica for his birthday on June 16, but spent the day texting American and United about his bags as he was bounced from one department to another. Insider reviewed some of the chats he had with the airlines.
One of Gentel's two bags was sent to Costa Rica after a few days, but the other — based on its AirTags location — was still stuck in Miami, he said.
"With each day that was passing, I was more and more concerned that the luggage would not make it to me and would eventually be lost for good," he told Insider.
Booking a new flight
After days with no resolution, he decided to fly from Costa Rica to Miami on June 20 to pick up the bag himself.
Once he arrived in Miami, he said he handed his baggage tag to the person at the storage room. "The guy looking for it in the storage room said it was not on the rack it was supposed to be on, so I used the AirTag to locate it on the rack next to it," he added.
This time around, he said, he unpacked all the stuff he "cared about" and carried it on the plane ride home.
Gentel said he booked most of the flights with credit card points. Insider verified his flight details for all three flights involved in the multi-day luggage ordeal. He contacted Insider with his story after he read about a passenger in Ireland who bought a plane ticket to get into Dublin Airport to look for his lost bag.
A summer of travel chaos
Gentel's experience comes amid a messy summer travel season with flight delays, lost baggage, and disruptions as demand has returned to pre-pandemic levels. The chaos started over Memorial Day weekend and is now particularly pronounced in Europe. Airlines are facing a slew of issues, including staff shortages, absences due to the ongoing pandemic, and bad weather.
While the process to get his bag back was time-consuming and tedious — he says neither American nor United offered any compensation for the trouble — Gentel said he was just "extremely relieved" to get his gear back. There would be "much inconvenience too in replacing my key drone racing gear like my goggles and my controller," Gentel added.
American Airlines did not respond to Insider's request for comment.
"We are dedicated to delivering bags to customers' final destinations on time, and when we miss the mark we work hard to connect customers with their bags as quickly as possible," a United Airlines representative told Insider.
Gentel is already thinking about what to do the next time he travels with more gear than he's allowed to carry on.
"I've recently actually been thinking about booking a friend on a ticket on flights so that I can have an additional carry-on and be able to avoid checking in expensive gear," he said.

A Kentucky teenager saved her dog by swimming to a nearby rooftop as they waited to be rescued.
"There was water as far as I could see," 17-year-old Chloe Adams told CNN.
As of Saturday, Gov. Andy Beshear confirmed 25 people have died due to the catastrophic event.
A Kentucky teenager saved her dog by swimming to a nearby rooftop as they waited to be rescued on Thursday during widespread flooding in the state.
According to CNN, 17-year-old Chloe Adams woke up to water quickly rising in the home she shares with her grandparents. The news organization reported Adams was home alone with Sandy, the dog she's had since she was a toddler.
"There was water as far as I could see. I had a full-blown panic attack," Adams said in a message to CNN.
CNN reported Adams placed Sandy in a plastic drawer to keep her dry before swimming to the roof of a nearby storage building for safety. The two waited more than five hours before her cousin used a kayak to transport them from the roof.
As of Saturday, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear confirmed 25 people have died and at least 1,432 Kentuckians have been rescued due to the catastrophic flooding in the Eastern part of the state.
Kentucky is one of many US states to be hit with severe flooding in the last week.
In a Facebook post, Terry Adams, the teenager's father, wrote that she waited for hours to be rescued. Adams called his daughter a "hero" and said "We lost everything today…everything except what matters most."

The Department of Homeland Security watchdog delayed the process of retrieving deleted Secret Service text messages and notifying Congress about them, The Washington Post reported Friday.
The Secret Service and DHS Inspector General Joseph Cuffari, clashed earlier this month after Cuffari wrote a letter to lawmakers saying the Secret Service had deleted text messages from the day of and before the Capitol riot in 2021. The Secret Service said the deleted text messages were due to a pre-planned system migration.
The Post, citing unnamed sources, said Cuffari's office initially planned to have DHS agencies, which includes the Secret Service, turn over their phones in early February, in an effort to retrieve the lost data. But by late February, the office decided not to push forward on collecting the phones, sources told the outlet.
On July 13, Cuffari's office sent a letter about the deleted messages to the House committee investigating January 6. Cuffari's letter, however, did not mention that the office knew of the deleted messages as early as December, according to The Post. Unnamed sources told CNN that Cuffari was even aware of them as early as May 2021.
Cuffari also did not mention in the letter that additional text messages were missing from two top DHS officials, The Post also reported.
"The procedure for preserving content prior to this purge appears to have been contrary to federal records retention requirements and may represent a possible violation of the Federal Records Act," Reps. Bennie Thompson and Liz Cheney, the committee's chair and vice chair, said in a statement.
Thompson, who is also the House Homeland Security chair, and Rep. Carolyn Maloney, House Oversight chair, have called for Cuffari to remove himself from the investigation. They said his delayed disclosure to Congress about the inaccessible Secret Service records casts "serious doubt on his independence and his ability to effectively conduct such an important investigation."
DHS and Cuffari's office did not immediately respond to Insider's requests for comment.

Engineers from MIT have created a wearable ultrasound medical device.
The stamp-sized sticker can provide live, high-resolution internal ultrasound imaging for 48 hours.
"We believe we've opened a new era of wearable imaging," the study's senior author said.
Engineers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have created a stamp-sized sticker that can provide live, high-resolution ultrasound imaging of blood vessels and internal organs when worn by patients.
The wearable medical device can provide continuous ultrasound imaging of internal organs for 48 hours, according to a paper published in Science.
The stickers, measuring 2 by 3 centimeters, adhere directly to the skin and could enable diagnostic and monitoring tools for various diseases, including some heart conditions, pregnancy-related complications, and several types of cancers.
"We imagine we could have a box of stickers, each designed to image a different location of the body," the study's senior author, Xuanhe Zhao, professor of mechanical engineering and civil and environmental engineering at MIT, told the MIT News Office. "We believe this represents a breakthrough in wearable devices and medical imaging."
Zhao did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
While the devices currently need to be connected to transducers to produce clear images, the engineers behind the stickers are working on creating wireless versions that would allow patients to wear the devices home from the hospital or doctor's office.
"We envision a few patches adhered to different locations on the body, and the patches would communicate with your cellphone, where AI algorithms would analyze the images on demand," Zhao told the MIT News Office. "We believe we've opened a new era of wearable imaging: With a few patches on your body, you could see your internal organs."

U.S. Bank was fined for using customer data to open sham accounts and new lines of credit without permission.
Employees were pressured to access customer credit reports and open new accounts to inflate sales numbers.
The bank is required to pay $37.5 million and return any illegal fees and charges — with interest.
After more than a decade of unlawfully accessing customer credit reports to open fraudulent lines of credit and create sham accounts to inflate sales numbers, U.S. Bank is being fined $37.5 million for its illegal business practices.
The Consumer Financial Protections Bureau, following a five-year investigation, found that US Bancorp, the fifth largest commercial bank in the United States, pressured employees to meet sales goals by creating fraudulent checking and savings accounts, credit cards, and lines of credit without customers' permission.
"For over a decade, U.S. Bank knew its employees were taking advantage of its customers by misappropriating consumer data to create fictitious accounts," CFPB Director Rohit Chopra said in a statement. "We all must do more to hold lawbreaking companies accountable when they abuse and misuse our sensitive personal data."
The CFPB investigation found evidence that U.S. Bank officials were aware of the pressure facing employees to create fake accounts and not only did not intervene, but held incentive-compensation programs that financially rewarded employees for selling bank products and opening new accounts.
In addition to the $37.5 million fine, Minneapolis-based U.S. Bank will be required to refund any illegally collected fees and charges related to the fraudulent accounts and pay impacted consumers' interest.
In a statement provided to Insider, a U.S. Bank spokesperson said the settlement was related to "legacy sales practices involving a small percentage of accounts" dating back to 2010. In response to the illegal sales practices, they said the bank has made process and oversight improvements since 2016 to address the concerns.
"The action by the CFPB closes out a 5+ year investigation," the U.S. Bank spokesperson told Insider. "We are pleased to put this matter behind us."
The U.S. Bank fine is not the first time a major bank has been found illegally creating accounts for unsuspecting customers without their permission. In 2016, Wells Fargo settled with regulators for $185 million after 2 million fake accounts were found to have been illegally created by employees to increase their cross-sell ratio.

Former Trump adviser Jared Kushner wrote that he and Steve Bannon clashed in the White House.

After Bannon was fired advisers joked his only role was leaking stories to the press, Kushner wrote.
After former President Donald Trump fired Steve Bannon, other White House advisers joked that Bannon's only job was leaking stories to the press, Jared Kushner wrote in his new memoir.
"Stephen Miller joked to Hope [Hicks] and me, 'I have a plan to split up Steve Bannon's extensive workload. Hope, you leak to Jonathan Swan at Axios. Jared, you call Mike Bender from the Wall Street Journal. I'll call Jeremy Peters from the New York Times, and … we're done,'" Kushner wrote, according to CNN.
"Breaking History: A White House Memoir," details the fallout between former Trump adviser Kushner and Bannon.
Kushner calls Bannon skilled in "media manipulation," and writes that Bannon had threatened to "leak out" Kushner to the press following a call he made with The New York Times. At the time, Kushner was trying to stop a story about Trump's displeasure with Bannon and former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, CNN reported.
According to Kushner's account, after he told Bannon to stop leaking stories about Senior Economic Adviser Gary Cohn, Bannon said he would "break" Kushner "in half."
"'Jared, right now, you're the one undermining the President's agenda,' he continued, his eyes intense and voice escalating into a yell. 'And if you go against me, I will break you in half. Don't f— with me,'" Kushner wrote, according to CNN.
Kushner wrote that Bannon's termination as Trump's chief strategist and senior counsel in 2017 was an accomplishment of his.
"Admitting that I didn't yet have any major policy successes to show for my seven months in government, I joked, 'At least I was able to get Steve Bannon fired,'" Kushner wrote.
Lawyers for Bannon did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

Lindsey Halligan, an attorney for Donald Trump, said she planned to sue CNN for defamation.
She said the network defamed the former president by calling his election fraud claims "The Big Lie."
The phrase "is actually linked to Adolf Hitler," Halligan said on Steve Bannon's War Room podcast.
In an interview for Steve Bannon's War Room podcast, an attorney for Donald Trump said she planned to sue CNN for defamation over the network's reporting on the former president's election fraud claims.
"CNN branded Trump as a liar, and referred to his questions regarding voter fraud as The Big Lie, which is actually linked to Adolf Hitler," Lindsey Halligan, a Florida attorney, said.
The German expression "the big lie" was coined by Hitler in his book "Mein Kampf" to describe a lie so egregious that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously."
On Wednesday, Trump released a 282-page statement detailing his intent to sue CNN over their coverage of his baseless voter fraud claims, which the network called "The Big Lie." In his statement, he defines the word "lie" as something known or believed by the speaker to be untrue.
"In this instance, President Trump's comments are not lies: He subjectively believes that the results of the 2020 presidential election turned on fraudulent voting activity in several key states," the former president's letter read.
Some legal scholars have argued Trump's stance that he believed the voter fraud falsehoods may be key to his defense, as it may make criminal intent more difficult to prove. However, Trump's "willful blindness" to the facts of the case may, in fact, establish intent and serve as evidence.
"So it's pretty simple: if you're going to call someone a liar, back it up with researched, well-founded facts. Otherwise, don't report it, don't distort the truth," Halligan said during an interview for the War Room podcast. "CNN responded to our letter today advising us that they will not retract the statements, so they will be getting served with a lawsuit very shortly, I believe."
According to the latest information available through the Florida Bar Association, Halligan was previously employed with the law firm Cole, Scott & Kissane specializing in property insurance claims, but her profile has since been removed from their website. It is unclear where she is currently practicing law.
Halligan did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

It is artificial eggs they are using and I just seem to have a sensitive pallet? Sen. Joe Manchin told a radio host he was "ostracized" after killing Biden's Build Back Better Act.
The West Virginia Democrat maintained that he thought it was a "bad bill for our economy."
But he said his deal with Sen. Schumer on climate, taxes, and healthcare should "do some good."
Sen. Joe Manchin complained in an interview on Thursday that he thought he'd been "ostracized" and "victimized" after not supporting the Build Back Better Act.
"I'd been ostracized and victimized, if you will, because I killed the BBB," Manchin told Kercheval. "Because the BBB, I think, was just a bad deal for our economy. It's a bad deal for our country and changes the trajectory of who we are as a people. So I was totally opposed to that."
Manchin went on to say that this new piece of legislation that he and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer have agreed on is "truly going to be around inflation reduction."
"I knew no matter what we do — if we could do some good now and have an energy policy that worked and do all this too without raising taxes, truly not raising taxes and not adding to inflation, and I'm gonna walk away from that because I think it's going to harm me politically?" Manchin told Kercheval. "Then, I'm the wrong person to be where I'm at."
The senator added that President Joe Biden had not been involved in his talks with Schumer.
"I was not going to bring the president in," Manchin told Kercheval, adding that he thought the deal could very well "not have happened at all if he did."
"It could have absolutely gone sideways," he added.

Two years ago, when I decided to up my cooking game, I ditched an old beaten Greenpan that I used primarily for cooking and replaced it with a new nice stainless steel pan. I followed all recommendations regarding cooking with SS and my experience with it was pleasant, food rarely ever sticked to it. As I used the pan on a daily basis, I couldn’t help but notice that it was becoming more non-stick. One day, I even dared to make French omelette (Julia Child style, with shaking the pan) and was pleasantly surprised when the omelette got off the pan without any problems. I tried to make the omelette several times afterwards as well and each time there was absolutely no sticking. Do stainless steel pans get seasoned over time like cast iron and become more non-stick? Or is it because I mastered the heat control for this particular pan and found that sweet temperature range within which nothing sticks or burns?

Images taken on Thursday show Trump participating in the pro-am LIV Golf event in the summer heat.
Trump played alongside his son, Eric, and LIV golfers Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson.
The ex-president has been vocal about his support for the new golf league funded by Saudi investors.
Photos taken Thursday morning show former President Donald Trump participating in the LIV Golf pro-am at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
Trump played in the summer heat alongside his son, Eric, and professional LIV golfers Bryson DeChambeau and Dustin Johnson.
The president, who's an avid fan of the sport, has made several statements in support of the newly-founded LIV Golf tour, which is financed by Saudi Arabian backers.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, he said that the tournament has been a wonderful investment for the country, bringing in lots of publicity.
"I think LIV has been a great thing for Saudi Arabia, for the image of Saudi Arabia," Trump told the Journal. "I think it's going to be an incredible investment from that standpoint, and that's more valuable than lots of other things because you can't buy that — even with billions of dollars."
LIV Golf has faced significant criticism from advocacy groups that claim the new league is akin to "sportswashing," and that the Saudi government is attempting to launder its image and reputation with the new golf league.
The National Press Club chastised LIV Golf and Trump in a statement.
"That the tournament is being held at a course owned by former President Trump is, if possible, even more revolting," the statement reads. "It reminds us that the former President bragged of distracting Congress from the murder, delaying the release of the final U.S. government report that concluded MBS, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia (and recipient of the fist-bump from President Biden) was most likely involved in planning and approving Jamal's murder."
Families of 9/11 survivors also called on Trump to cancel the event. On Thursday, the former president told ESPN: "Nobody's gotten to the bottom of 9/11, unfortunately, and they should have, as to the maniacs that did that horrible thing."
As Insider's John Haltiwanger pointed out, 15 of the 19 hijackers involved in the 2001 terrorist attacks were Saudi nationals. Though the Saudi government has said it wasn't involved in the attacks, some victims' family members suggested otherwise.
Two of 12 of LIV Golf's events are set to be held at Trump properties, including this week in Bedminster and an October event in Miami.
DeChambeau praised Trump in an interview with Golfweek. "I mean, anytime you get to play with a president, whether passed or sitting, it's just an honor, no matter who it is. Very lucky to have a relationship with him, and he's always been generous to me."

I am serving a brunch in a couple of weeks and would like to do sous vide egg bites, most likely with some kind of potato, fresh Colorado peaches, a bit of artisan bread, and a local sausage. Still open on flavor profile. I think egg bites need ... some kind of base to highlight them on the plate, give them a little more presence? Their footprint on a plate seems "small" and kind of naked given that they are a main. I've thought about a little bed of greens, a broiled tomato slice, a little swipe of sauce??? Thank you for any ideas!

When I opened it, the yogurt was flat and i had to press into it with my spoon which is something i never had to do with regular yogurt. The yogurt went from almost chunks to a smooth texture with lumps while mixing. It tastes fine but im not sure if it is good because of the lumps and thickness.

Hi all! Home cook here who tried to make chicken stock from the carcass of a Costco roasted chicken.
I seasoned and strained the stock, refrigerated it overnight to set the fat and then skimmed the fat off the next morning. Problem is that the cold stock is cloudy and gelatinous like an old fashioned aspic so it’s not very appetizing to look at. Is this safe to warm and eat? I was hoping to get a nice clear golden liquid.
Can I redeem this batch? If not then how do I process my next batch so that I get the golden Lear liquid chicken stock.

Just got the carbon steel wok of my dreams. Heated it nice and blue. Poured a little oil into the HOT wok and started rubbing the oil around with a bunched up paper towel. Alas, the wok was too hot and instantly burned the paper towel leaving black burnt paper marks on the bottom.

also what are some ways I can add depth of flavor to raw peach without totally cooking it? I need to let it stay in the fridge or outside for at least a couple hours so brûlée is out of the question since the shell will soften. Any flavor combos would be great too.

I recently bought a bottle of horseradish thinking it was horseradish sauce (they're right next to eachother). Would mixing it with mayo basically make the same thing? I don't want to waste it but I don't know if I'll really be able to utilize all the horseradish

Pennsylvania state Sen. Doug Mastriano has endorsed Arizona Republican Wendy Rogers in her reelection bid.
Rogers is a far-right conspiracy theorist who recently spoke at a white nationalist conference.
Mastriano, who is running for governor, has been criticized by Jewish leaders for his own embrace of antisemites.
Doug Mastriano, the Pennsylvania Republican facing criticism for refusing to cut ties with a social media platform popular with Christian nationalists, has endorsed the reelection bid of an Arizona Republican who has welcomed the support of white nationalists and is herself a member of the far-right Oath Keepers militia.
In a video posted on her Telegram, Wendy Rogers, a state senator who was censured by her party after appearing at a white nationalist conference earlier this year, touted the endorsement from Mastriano, who is himself running for governor.
"Thank you, Colonel, for your endorsement!" Rogers wrote. "We are rooting for you in Pennsylvania, too!"
Mastriano, in the video posted Monday evening, described the state senator as a "good friend."
"We need more champions for freedom like her in office," he said. "She's tough and courageous. She's a brave leader."
Rogers, who was also endorsed by former President Donald Trump, is fighting to keep the seat she first won in 2020. On August 2, GOP primary voters will pick between her and state Sen. Kelly Townsend, an ultra-conservative lawmaker who says she launched her primary challenge due to Rogers' open embrace of white nationalists.
In February, Rogers spoke at a conference organized by far-right streamer Nick Fuentes, who the Southern Poverty Law Center describes as a "white nationalist live streamer" and "outspoken admirer of fascists." The Anti-Defamation League likewise describes him as a "white supremacist leader."
Fuentes, among other things, has claimed the Republican Party "is run by Jews, atheists, and homosexuals."
Speaking to Insider's Bryan Metzger, Townsend said she watched a compilation of Fuentes' views after Rogers' participation in the conference was publicized and was "horrified" by what she saw. Previously, Metzger wrote describing Fuentes as "a 23-year-old far-right political commentator who the FBI has identified as a white supremacist and with an online following known as 'Groypers.'"
Rogers, far from distancing herself, has embraced so-called "groypers" — deeming her white nationalist audience "patriots" while describing Fuentes as "the most persecuted man in America" — and doubled down on controversy.
After Russia's invasion of Ukraine, for example, she attacked President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is Jewish, as a "globalist puppet for Soros," along with further antisemitic tropes: "I stand with the Christians worldwide not the global bankers who are shoving godlessness and degeneracy in our face."
"I will not apologize for being white," she added the next day.
Rogers later suggested that a white man's mass killing of Black shoppers at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York, was a "false flag" attack staged by the federal government.
In its censure, the Arizona state Senate, which is led by Republicans, said Rogers had engaged in conduct "unbecoming of a senator, including publicly issuing and promoting social media and video messages encouraging violence."
Rogers' membership in the Oath Keepers has also come under increased scrutiny since the paramilitary group's leadership was charged with a seditious conspiracy over their role in the January 6 insurrection.
Mastriano critic
Mastriano, who won a plurality in the GOP primary to become his party's Trump-backed candidate for governor, has himself been criticized for cozying up to far-right extremists and antisemites. His opponent, Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, is Jewish.
In a statement, the Shapiro campaign attacked Mastriano for "plunging his campaign deeper into toxic extremism and conspiracy theories."
"It's appalling to see Mastriano team up with an out-of-state politician who spends her time with white nationalists and peddles horrific antisemitism, but it's unsurprising – they're two peas in a pod," Manuel Bonder, a spokesperson for the Shapiro campaign, told Insider.
Earlier this year, HuffPost reported, Mastriano paid $5,000 in a "consulting" fee to Gab, a social network popular with extremists that was used by the man who murdered 11 Jews at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. Mastriano also sat down for an interview with the site's founder, Andrew Torba, a self-described Christian nationalist who has frequently posted antisemitic tirades.
"Jewish voters expect candidates to condemn antisemitism, whether it comes from the far left or the far right — and to shun those who espouse it," Matt Brooks, executive director of the Republican Jewish Coalition, said in a statement reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer. "We strongly urge Doug Mastriano to end his association with Gab, a social network rightly seen by Jewish Americans as a cesspool of bigotry and antisemitism."
Mastriano did not respond to a request for comment.

In outtakes from his public message on January 7, Trump did not want to say "the election is over."
Trump hoped to avoid the word "peace" in his tweets, a former White House aide said.
His actions suggest "intentionality," in which omission is an action, a Stanford law expert told Insider.
Donald Trump's deliberation over his tweets and messages to Capitol rioters and supporters on January 6, 2021, could be used against the former president in criminal charges, as it suggests intent, a criminal law expert said.
These examples "suggest a certain kind of intentionality" for a particular outcome, Robert Weisberg, a criminal law professor at Stanford University, told Insider.
"If he's being told to say, 'X,' and he says, 'I'm not gonna say that, I'm gonna say, 'Y.' That suggests that his decision not to act is motivated by a desire for the bad things to happen," Weisberg said, adding that refusing to say the election is over touches upon the idea of action through omission. "It certainly could be evidence in a criminal case."
In several witness testimonies, aides close to Trump revealed there was an urgent desire to send a forceful statement to the public that could only come from the President once rioters began to breach the Capitol.
Instead, Trump sent a tweet disparaging Pence for not having the courage to overturn the election, which Matthews described as "pouring gasoline on the fire" and giving a "green light" to his supporters.
"One can say that that statement at the time was an action taken, in which he knew damn well that that could exacerbate the risk of violence to Pence. We're not saying he intended to help assassinate Pence, but he knowingly took an incredibly reckless chance that those words would exacerbate the risk of death or harm to Pence and others," Weisberg said.
"You've got some potential criminal liability there. It's not quite attempted murder, but there are various legal doctrines, which could make him criminally culpable," he said. "Certainly a very extreme form of reckless endangerment of human life."
About 14 minutes after the Pence tweet, Trump sent a message to his supporters to support law enforcement and the Capitol Police and, finally, to "stay peaceful!"
Testimony from Matthews revealed that Trump originally did not want to use the word "peace" and had to be convinced by his daughter Ivanka Trump to add the last phrase.
Using the tweets as part of criminal evidence does come with the large hurdle of proving Trump's mental state at the time the statements were made, according to Weisberg.
"If we talk about the affirmative things that he did, as we learned in the earlier hearings to incite violent action or to encourage it after it got started, then you've got these issues about whether he acted with a certain culpable mental state and whether he actually played a causal role," Weisberg said.
